Member Spotlight

The Millis Teachers Association is proud to celebrate speech and language pathologist, Tim Howden, winner of the NCTA Honor Award. Tim has worked with some of our most vulnerable and remarkable students. Tim is often “that person” they trust the most and the one who will push them outside their comfort zone. Tim serves as Vice-President of our Association and is there to support all members across all units and buildings. Tim has negotiated multiple unit contracts, attends every Annual Meeting, and a pragmatic voice on our Health and Safety Committee. His advocacy during our budget crisis, his ability to see the “big picture”, and his sincere approach, makes our schools, our community and our union better.
